Writing one

1. Copy _template.md to docs/proposals/<short-slug>.md.
2. Set title: and order: in the frontmatter.
3. Commit. It appears in the sidebar automatically — no config edits.

Status convention: every RFC carries a Status of Draft, Proposed, Accepted, Rejected, or Superseded so readers know what's live.
